CAMO/14 YearsCAMO is a concept for a female under-cover activist group. Based in the UK, CAMO uses tactics such as guerrilla marketing and public interventions to raise awareness about socio-political issues. The group  cover topics that are in the public interest. 14 Years is pop-up exhibition that takes over university campuses at night with the aim of encouraging young people to vote in the upcoming general election. The artworks are split across 14 spaces within the university, with each representing one of the 14 years that the current government has been in power. year 6 investigates the art cuts within education, and year 13 looks at the statistics of children within our society living in poverty. The placards displayed with the works have a QR code that links to the government webpage where you register to vote. Each work takes on a creative way to display the significant failures of our government. This project was a collaborative effort between myself, Aine McCallion, Maisie Pointon, and Chloe Sweeney.
